Adam Lambert obviously loves his Asian fans, and word is out that he will be returning to perform several concerts in Japan early next year. Yesterday an announcement was made for shows in Tokyo (February 19, 20), Kanazawa (February 23), Nagoya (February 25), and Osaka (February 26).

Adam is well-known and loved throughout Asia. This past August he was in Japan to sing at Mezamashi Live 2012 and Summer Sonic 2012. He also recently traveled to Asia to perform on The Voice of China in September. But that’s not all, because this weekend, another Asian concert was announced. Adam will be holding an exclusive New Year’s concert in Bali on December 30.

Fans around the world have recently been campaigning on Twitter to convince Adam to perform in their own country. In fact, just this Saturday, his Turkish fans tweeted “Turkey with Adam Lambert” until it became a worldwide trend on Twitter.

In the meantime, Adam has a couple of performances lined up here in the United States. On October 29, he will be at the radio show “Texas Tango” in Grand Prairie, Texas. Then, on November 3, he performs at “Live in the Vineyard” in Napa, California.

Adam Lambert is among one the guests to appear at Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays 2012, a benefit concert to help raise awareness about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth homelessness. Lambert joins other top celebs to appear, including Sarah McLachlan, Whoopi Goldberg, and Roberta Flack to name a few.

Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays is an event to support the True Colors Fund’s Forty to None Project. Lauper, a longtime advocate for the gay and transgender community and equality, co-founded the True Colors Fund in 2008 and the organization’s Forty to None Project this past summer. The goal is to raise awareness about the homeless youth that identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender and develop resources to help these young people, most of whom are homeless due to family conflict.

Since becoming a well-known celebrity, Adam Lambert has shown a lot of support for LGBT youth. He created an “It Gets Better Video” and donated proceeds from his Aftermath single and a special “Peace Pendant” to The Trevor Project. In turn, Adam has inspired his fans to help this community as well.

The last time Adam performed a concert at New Year’s was in 2009 at Gridlock on the Paramount Pictures lot in Los Angeles. Fans in attendance had an amazing time partying to the music from his first solo album. This year, he will likely be singing songs mostly off his new Trespassing album.

Adam Lambert released his “Trespassing” EP today and the radio edit of his single has already become the #1 “Mover & Shaker” on Amazon. This comes as no surprise because Adam has an extremely loyal fan base that make it their mission to move him up the charts. Known by many for their twitter trend campaigns, with the new release, Glamberts sprung into action to raise awareness. They were successful in getting “Trespassing EP Out Now” to trend worldwide.

Adam tweeted a reminder to his fans about the EP release this morning: “Glamberts! The Trespassing Remix EP is now available on iTunes! Check it out!” Of course no one needed reminding, as fans have been wildly purchasing it since it became available at midnight last night.

The Trespassing EP features songs off Adam’s latest album, including remixes of “Trespassing” (Pharrell’s Radio Edit, Benny Benassi, Zak Waters, vAnity mAchine), “Never Close Our Eyes” (R3hab, Mig&Mike Rizzo), “Better Than I Know Myself” (Robert Marvin & Shearer) and “Pop That Lock” (Johnny Labs Extended Mix). Adam shared the inspiration for the EP with Ryan Seacrest: “My goal was to delve into as many different aspects of EDM as we could and I hope both fans and DJs enjoy this EP. It’s tailored for the club, your workout, your commute or a crazy Halloween party.”

On Sunday, Adam Lambert, Russell Brand, and Kristen Schaal were the first celebrities to appear on ROVE LA for season 2. Joining Australian TV host Rove McManus, the trio kept the audience in stitches with their hilarious quips and stories.

Unlike traditional talk shows in which guests are each on for a short segment, ROVE LA is a weekly comedy/talk show in which three celebrities sit together and participate in the whole show. It airs in Australia, New Zealand, England, Scotland, Ireland, and the US.

Most of Adam Lambert’s fans know that he is not generally one to show skin, but he did get a laugh when he shared his quirky habit of wearing dress shoes with no socks. In fact, Adam’s bare ankles inspired Rove to try it out himself. Adam also shared a funny story of when he was in the off-Broadway production of “Debbie Does Dallas” years ago. There were many more amusing moments on the show, which lasted almost an hour.

ROVE LA will air in the US on TV Guide Channel on October 6. However, much of the content is likely to be cut due to language.

On Friday evening at 9:00 p.m. local time, Adam Lambert is set to perform a full-length concert set in North America for the first time really since the Glam Nation Tour came to a close. The venue? The St. Agathe en Feux Festival in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec — which is located about an hour north of Montreal. While the town may have less than 10,000 people, expect a rather enormous crowd for the event — people will driving (and flying) in for the festivities.
We are of course going to have plenty of coverage of the concert both via videos and our spies at the scene — but what we can say is that it be a rather entertaining opportunity to witness how Adam’s voice and stage presence have evolved over the past several months. There is one other sort of variable that also has to be considered here (as with any festival performance) — weather. Currently the forecast calls for a chance of storms, which could very well impact the attendance of more casual fans who are debating whether or not to attend.
This concert is going to have to serve as some form of satisfaction for at least a little while, since after this performance there are no more events set on Adam’s calendar. Will this change following the announcement of new music? Definitely, and we can probably expect this to happen a little bit later in the fall.

Usually when a song has been in the marketplace for over a year and a half, you generally start to see it decline slowly and surely over the years until it is barely played at all. The beautify for Adam Lambert at the moment, though, is that he can celebrate this week having a song that actually gained a decent amount of spins despite it being over 18 months since its original release as a single.
Specifically, we are talking here about “Whataya Want From Me,” which actually ended up gaining 43 spins in the past week to finish at the grand total of 1,789. Per USA Today, that makes the song the seventh-most-popular track from any “American Idol” alum on the radio (which is constant from the week before).
While we could be quick to claim that this increase is just a one-week aberration, it is not exactly fair to call it just that. With Adam having some new music on the horizon, it is reasonably likely that he could end up gaining some more spins as interest starts to pick up in what is coming down the road. (There’s nothing like new music to remind some casual fans of old music, after all.)

You can listen to the Remix here!

On Monday, Adam Lambert tweeted kudos to someone who remixed a song off his latest album Trespassing. The track, called Pop That Lock, is one of the dance tunes on the album, and the remix gave it an even funkier beat. Adam obviously loves the remix, based on the comment he tweeted with the Soundcloud link: “This Remix is SOOOO great! Pop That Lock (Johnny Labs Mix) by @johnnylabs via #soundcloud.” Adam has a huge following on Twitter (1.6 million+) and he obviously prompted many fans to check out the remix. In fact, the Soundcloud remix has already been played more than 4500 times this week.

Adam “popped his lock” for the first time live when he performed the song at the Orange County Fair in Southern California this summer. It was a huge hit with the crowd, and he has sung it live a few times since that show. The track was co-written by Adam, Josh Crosby, Leslie Roy, Robert Marvin, and Nate Campany.

What’s up for Adam next? He will be doing a concert in Australia on October 13, and headlining at the Arizona State Fair on October 17. In November he performs at the exclusive Live In The Vineyard event in Napa and then heads to South Africa for a mini-tour. There is still no word about when he will start preparing his official Trespassing Tour.

Adam Lambert has just made a lot of Chinese Glamberts happy because he has confirmed that he will be appearing on the finale of “The Voice of China.” Adam recently opened an account on a microblogging Chinese website called “Weibo.” Weibo is like Twitter in the United States and is extremely popular in China. Adam posted on his Weibo account, “Hello Shanghai! I’m going to appear live on the finale of The Voice of China on September 30. I am so excited and can’t wait to visit!”

This is the first season of The Voice of China, which is a singing reality show in the same franchise as The Voice in the US. Adam has not appeared on the US version of the show yet, but he did stop by The Voice of Holland during his Glam Nation tour in 2010. He took time out during his sound check to chat with some of the contestants. During their chat, Kim de Boer showed Adam a video of when she performed his single Whataya Want From Me for her audition on the show. Lambert praised her singing, saying “Great, good job. That was amazing, I love it.” The four contestants also sang part of Whataya Want From Me acoustically for him during their meeting. During their chat, Adam talked with the contestants about how his life has changed since American Idol, his tour and their current jobs.

According to a recent press release, “The Voice of China hit the airwaves in July, having since garnered a devout following of 120 million TV viewers on stations like Channel [V] and Zhejiang Television, plus 400 million more online.” This is a great opportunity for Adam to gain an even larger following in China than his existing Chinese fan base!

New York Fashion Week has begun and celebs are eager to see the couture offered by their favorite designers. It is no secret that fashion savvy Adam Lambert loves clothes and he even tweeted yesterday, “Sooooo excited for NY Fashion Week!” It’s not known which, if any, fashion shows Adam will be attending, but it looks like he will be on a fashion related television show.

Although no official announcement has been made, according to the TV Guide listing, Adam will be appearing on September 14 on E! Entertainment Television’s “Fashion Police.” Starring Joan Rivers, Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and George Kotsiopoulos, the hosts discuss the dos and don’ts of celebrity fashion. Since the next two episodes will be coming from “inside New York Fashion Week,” it sounds like Adam will be in New York for the big event.

Does Adam have what it takes to critique the fashion of other celebs? Absolutely! Just ask Nina Garcia of hit fashion reality series Project Runway. Adam was a guest judge on the show last year and he charmed her so much that she tweeted, ““PHOTO: Here I am with next week’s #ProjectRunway guest judge @adamlambert. I LOVE him. http://say.ly/poAICa”

Technically, this is the second time Adam will be shown on Fashion Police because his fashion sense was critiqued on the show in 2011 during their “Starlet or Streetwalker” segment. In the segment, a picture of a person is shown with a masked face and the “judges” decide if the person is a starlet or streetwalker based on the clothes. Adam’s photo was shown where he was dressed in all black wearing “harem” pants. The Fashion Patrol judges unanimously voted him a starlet. (Watch the segment in the video link to the left)

See what Adam has to say on Fashion Police on Friday, September 14 at 10/9c on E! Entertainment Network.
